Hello! I'm Fi, a freelance engineer and producer based in London.

Having worked in-house at AIR Studios for over 11 years I joined AIR Management in 2018. During this time I have been lucky enough to work with some incredible composers and artists including Dario Marianelli, Alberto Iglesias, Marc Shaiman, Jed Kurzel, and Jacob Collier.

I have recently been working with Rob Simonsen (The Whale), Chris Benstead (The Gentlemen) and Keaton Henson (Supernova) and am currently producing an album with Dot Allison.

Growing up at AIR meant that I got to work with some of the world's best engineers and producers on projects in many different genres - from film and TV scores to classical albums, big band, jazz, rock, pop, bluegrass... and everything in-between! So while I suppose I specialise in scoring, I am just as happy recording an orchestra as I am mixing an electronic album.

As well as engineering, I do a lot of score and classical editing - making the music sound as good as it can before mixing. I also have experience as a film music editor, working on projects such as The French Dispatch, Aladdin, Britannia, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Beauty and the Beast, and The Alienist.

I am particularly passionate about working with artists who are new to the world of film. With my experience in music editing and mixing, I feel I can help translate for the composer and deliver to the dub in the most organised way without restricting creativity.

Although AIR will always be home, I am happy to work wherever suits the project best. I have enjoyed sessions at Abbey Road, RAK, British Grove, Strongroom, Urchin, Snap… whatever sound and space you need and whatever budget, I can help you decide on the right place to work.

If mixing in one of the big rooms isn’t possible I have a 5.1 mix room called The Mix Shop, which I share with another AIR engineer, Adam Miller. Lastly I have a small set-up at home for stereo mixing using an iMac, ATC SCM25A monitors and more fun plugins than you can shake a stick at.
